Gioia is a 2023 College of the Holy Cross graduate, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Italian Studies and a Business Fundamentals Certificate. 

During her third year of undergrad, she immersed herself in a six-month language program in Florence, Italy. The experience exposed her to the publishing world, deepened her appreciation for photography, and offered a different perspective on language.
